Description
Benchmark Human Services has grown to become one of the most respected organizations in the country in the areas of intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) and behavioral health. We work with people at home, work, and in the community through residential, employment, crisis response, recovery, behavioral, children's services, and day services. Our corporate office in Fort Wayne, IN is hiring an HR & Legal Projects Coordinator to assist with the administration of benefits, various leave programs, and assisting the policy review committee with managing the review and distribution of policies and lead projects in the legal department.

Job Functions and Responsibilities:
Human Resources. The position will be responsible for completing the following HR tasks. The list is not all inclusive.
a. Assist in tracking leave of absences, etc.
b. Coordinate the notification of LOA and FMLA with employees, HR, and managers
c. Complete benefit portability notifications
d. Collect outstanding benefit premiums
e. Support benefit enrollment
Other
a. Report any suspected abuse, neglect or exploitation immediately to supervisor or department head.
b. Attend and participate in human resources, legal, and compliance meetings as needed or assigned
c. Comply with all standards to assure the health and safety of all individuals.
