Vero Beach Veterinary Hospital is seeking a Medical Director to join our team! We can offer up to $20K in bonuses comprised of sign-on, retention, and relocation assistance and the opportunity for a cash buy-in of up to 10% of the hospital.

The Opportunity:

As the Medical Director at Vero Beach Veterinary Hospital, you will provide medical leadership for the hospital ensuring quality care is provided, while also managing associate veterinarians, and assuring regulatory compliance.
Alongside the Hospital Manager, you will oversee the financial performance of the hospital, preparing operating and capital budgets, and meeting budget expectations.
Additionally, you and the Hospital Manager will oversee staff and the overall management of the practice, under the direction of National Veterinary Associates (NVA) Divisional Leadership.

About Vero Beach Veterinary Hospital:

We are an AAHA-accredited hospital offering care for common household pets as well as exotics

In addition to general wellness and boarding for our patients, we are proud to offer a number of diagnostic services (diagnostic ultrasounds, EKG, radiography, lab services, and allergies) as well as surgery services and special health services which include cardiology, endocrinology, ophthalmology, and dermatology and end of life care
Our team also offers reproduction services such as labor & delivery and fertility testing as well as holistic and therapy services including acupuncture and electrical stimulation
At Vero Beach, we also offer top-notch dental care utilizing oral diagnostic imaging, digital dental radiography, and laser therapy

Skills and Basic Qualifications:

2+ years experience as a DVM
A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or related degree from an accredited university
Licensure in good standing to practice in the state in which the applicant is to be employed
Commitment to practicing the highest standard of medicine and upholding the veterinary code of ethics

Compensation:

$185,000 base salary depending on experience
This position is eligible for production-based bonuses
Up to $20K in bonuses comprised of sign-on, retention, and relocation assistance
