This remote position will be responsible for the development, implementation and management of the Bank's consumer lending compliance program; for conducting complex program implementations as well as internal auditing and reporting with respect to consumer lending compliance.

Responsibilities
Develop compliance policies and protocols with regards to the implementation and on-going compliance of consumer lending.
Develop and implement a compliance program to ensure accordance with state and federal laws to include licensing and other regulatory needs.
Determine compliance metrics and establish a system for tracking.
Review marketing and advertising collateral to ensure compliance.
Remain up to date on federal and state laws related to the organization and ensure policies are updated accordingly.
Perform compliance audits to determine whether protocols are being followed as well as opportunities for improvement.
Maintain up to date written documentation and policies related to the organization's business activities.
Create a compliance resource library for staff members.
Active involvement in the rollout of new programs and products.
Develop and administer requests for proposals and procurement processes.
Conduct complex program implementation, evaluation, and oversight of processes and policies.
Manage consumer lending program reporting.
Manage special and ad-hoc consumer lending projects as needed.
Requirements:

Bachelor's degree preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in in risk management or
compliance roles required.
Prior
banking experience in compliance preferred.
Existing compliance certification or willingness to obtain such certification required.
Must
be a strong communicator and capable of expressing oneself clearly both
speaking and writing.
Superior
attention to detail and ability to identify and correct risky practices.
Exemplify
strong knowledge of industry protocols and best practices.
Excellent
analytical skills and ability to accurately interpret complex documents
and policies.
Ability and desire to thrive in a fast-paced remote environment that requires organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines.

Demonstrate an understanding of and follow established Bank policies, procedures, and regulations, cognizant of transactions, inquiries that appear suspicious, obtaining reasonable and verifiable explanations, notifying the Compliance Officer when necessary; completion of all web-based compliance training; resolution of all issues concerning BSA report reviews of suspicious activity and or cash transactions.
Physical Demands:

Sustained standing and sitting;
Frequent use of PC, including typing or sustained attention to monitor;
Occasional lifting of basic office files or equipment up to 20 lbs.
