This position is full time (40 hours/week) Monday - Friday.
Employees are required to have flexibility to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of 6:
00am - 8:
00pm CST.
It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime.
We offer weeks of on-the-job training.
The hours during training will be 7:
00am to 3:
00pm CST, Monday - Friday.
All Telecommuters will be required to adhere to UnitedHealth Group's Telecommuter Policy.
Primary Responsibilities:
Review claim information received via electronically and paper submitted claims.
Review items that stopped for review (i.e.
patient info, claim fields, charges submitted, provide selection) and correct or reject as needed.
Manually enter claims that were misdirected or received for escalated inquiries.

Required Qualifications:
High School Diploma / GED OR equivalent work experience Must be 18 years of age OR older 2+ years of experience with Microsoft Excel (ability to create, edit, save and send spreadsheets) 2+ years of experience with Microsoft Outlook (ability to create, edit, save and send correspondence) Basic proficiency with computer and Windows PC applications, which includes the ability to learn new and complex computer system applications Ability to work full time (40 hours/week) Monday - Friday.

1+ years of experience working with medical claims 1+ years of working in production-based environment 2+ years of data entry experience 1+ years of experience in an office setting environment using a computer as the primary instruments to perform job duties Basic understanding of healthcare claims including ICD-10 and CPT codes Telecommuting Requirements:

The hourly range for this is $16.00 - $23.94 per hour.
Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc.
