Our Organization and Mission: The Office represents the State of Florida in state and federal civil and criminal courts, from trial courts to the Supreme Court of the United States.

Pay: $50,000 - $56,650 Annually, commensurate with experience.

Position Summary: This position will have a significant role in assisting the Education and Training Administrator by researching, developing, mastering, and facilitating statewide training for the agency. This position spends the majority of time communicating with, motivating, training agency employees, and evaluating and developing the agency's training modules.

Qualifications:

• 60 semester or 90 quarter hours of college course work from an accredited institution which includes four courses in education, communication, technical writing, curriculum development or the equivalentandfive years of experience developing, delivering and providing formal training.

• Completion of a 720-classroom hour program of study from a vocational/technical school or community college in technologyand five years of experience developing, delivering and providing formal training.

• A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or universityandthree years of professional experience developing, delivering, and providing formal training;or

• A master's degree from an accredited college or university in education, communication, technical writing, curriculum development or the equivalentandtwo years of professional experience developing, delivering, and providing formal training;or

• A doctorate from an accredited college or university in education, communication, technical writing, curriculum development or the equivalentandone year of professional experience developing, delivering, and providing formal training.

• Experience in education, communication, technical writing, curriculum development or the equivalent or in developing and delivering training can substitute on a year-for-year basis for the required college education.

The Work You Will Do: This position's duties include but not limited to the following:

• Assure continued and full deployment of the agency's activities and initiatives. This includes the research, development and delivery of classes, courses, workshops, and seminars needed to provide information and skills; as well as establishment and maintenance of computer-based training programs.

• Serves as the agency's Learning Management System (LMS) Administrator to maintain and manage the current LMS by uploading and creating online course content, producing reports for learner status, troubleshooting LMS issues, and maintaining user profiles in the LMS.

• Collaborates with the agency's division representatives to provide employees with scholarship opportunities for online and nationwide training programs.

• Participate in the leadership development program. Follow established design standards for updating and delivering leadership development curriculum. Establish target audience for various leadership training programs.

• Job duties may require travel to other locations in Florida and work outside of normal hours.

• Assist in setting up rooms for trainings and training supported meetings.

• Performs related work as required.
