Rapids Waterpark is South Florida's Premier Waterpark, with more than 40 attractions on 35 acres near beautiful West Palm Beach.

We are hiring a Marketing & Sales Coordinator, responsible for the digital marketing content and supporting sales group clients from booking to arrival.
We are looking for a self-starter who is creative, motivated and resourceful to help level up our in-house digital marketing on both our website and social media.
This person should be active and familiar with popular social media platforms and familiar with website CMS systems and analytics.

Director of Sales and Marketing

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Responsible for the development, execution and monitoring of social media content for Rapids Water Park during business hours, including capturing content in-park, editing and producing content for channels such as Meta, TikTok, YouTube and X.
Also responsible for analysis of content to ensure best practices, maximize reach and represent Rapids in the best possible light on social media.
Maintain and update the Rapids Water Park website content, including event information, sales messaging and updated ride or attraction content.
Provide analysis of website metrics using Google Analytics to facilitate changes as needed based on site traffic, page use and conversions.
Fulfill online Group and Birthday booking requests to ensure smooth guest experience for those utilizing "self-booking" options, including communications with in-park team to confirm bookings and services prior to guest arrival.
Support the Marketing & Sales team with group and event booking fulfillment in-park for a variety of group bookings, such as Girl Scouts Day, School Field Trips and Corporate Outings.
Activities include group confirmations, being on site in- park to greet and check-in groups, coordinating with other departments during group events and following up with groups to ensure maximum satisfaction during visits.
Assist with in-house content development for ads, flyers and other collateral for opportunistic promotions, using Canva or similar program.
Rapids Water Park as a part of its ongoing community service involvement has an extensive partnership with hundreds of non-profit organizations.
This individual is responsible for administering the Non-profit ticket request program and exploring other opportunities for community engagement.
Perform various reporting and administrative functions for the Marketing and Finance Departments, and General Manager, including but not limited to, Accounting, Cash Control, HR, and Receptionist functions as needed.
Other duties as required.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Must be at least 18 years of age and possess a valid driver's license.
Must possess working knowledge of MS Office applications including Word and Excel.
Must have highly developed interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, including presentation skills; ability to communicate clearly, concisely, and persuasively.
Must be available to work varied shifts including evenings, holidays, overnight events, and weekends.
Maintain positive, respectful relationships and work effectively with all internal and external constituencies, including team members, community leaders and senior management.
Must have a proactive, goal-oriented, can-do attitude.
Be able to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in marketing or a related field preferred.
Proven working experience in digital marketing, particularly within the tourism industry.
Experience with website content management in Wordpress with Divi Builder
Familiarity with Constant Contact
Experienced in the field of marketing with a technical understanding of and interest in the major social media platforms and their best practices, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat, Tumblr, Pinterest, etc.

Experience developing industry and professional affiliations that enhance professional growth and business reputation, staying current with the latest trends in the industry and business world.
Google Analytics experience and/or certification
Familiarity with Asana or other project management software
Familiarity with social media monitoring and scheduling tools such as Hootsuite, Sprout or Meltwater.
