*The Opportunity*

The Senior Instrumentation & Controls (I&C) Engineer functions as a technical specialist supporting the Food & Beverage and related manufacturing industries. This role will incorporate design execution, oversight of deliverables as well as refining I&C offerings within the market.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

+ Lead execution and take overall responsibility for I&C design on services and EPC projects.

+ Coordinate I&C engineering efforts and lead I&C team for large multi-discipline projects.

+ Perform technology evaluation studies, conceptual design, and technical reports.

+ Interface with the client to understand needs and develop requirements.

+ Attend client, contractor, and vendor meetings, perform field investigations, review vendor packages, witness factory acceptance testing, and help resolve issues during construction.

+ Monitor and control project schedule and budgets

+ Develop I&C standards specific to the Food and Beverage Industry.

+ Support business development activities

+ Support proposals and presentations in response to sales opportunities.

+ Support development of scope of services and engineering fee proposals.

*Preferred Qualifications*

+ 4+ years experience in instrumentation, control, and automation design and EPC services

+ 4+ years experience in Food and Beverage industry, including CIP system design

+ Previous experience with PLC and HMI programming, including field startup and commissioning

+ Previous experience in designing control panels

+ Previous experience or knowledge in design of 480-volt distribution and control wiring a plus

+ Experience in consulting or supporting business development

*Minimum Qualifications*

Requires a bachelor's degree in engineering from either a recognized accredited program in their home country or the country in which the professional is practicing. Minimum of 8 years related work experience. All applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (if selected) which may include any/all of the following: criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search, in compliance with any applicable laws and regulations.

*Certifications*

Professional Engineering (PE) license or active pursuit of registration.
