Description

GAI Consultants is seeking an individual to join its CEI Central Florida team a CEI-CSS (Construction Engineering and Inspection - Contract Support Specialist) to be connected to our Orlando, FL office. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing and administering contracts, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations, and supporting various contract-related activities.

Job Duties:

Contract Administration: Prepare, review, and manage contracts, including drafting and negotiating terms.
Documentation: Maintain document control, including collection, authorization, publication, storage, retrieval, and retention of documents.
Cost Estimates: Prepare monthly and final cost estimates and compose contract change orders.
Compliance: Ensure all contract activities comply with relevant regulations and standards.
Support Tasks: Provide administrative support for contract-related activities such as invoice processing, payment tracking, and budget reconciliation.

Qualifications:

Education: A bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as engineering, business, finance, or law is often required.
Experience: Previous experience in contract management or a related field is typically necessary.
Skills: Strong organizational, communication, and analytical skills are essential. Familiarity with procurement regulations and processes is also important.
FDOT CTQP Final Estimates Level II, preferred.

Education Bachelors of Finance (required)
High School of Diploma (required)
Experience 4 years: Prepare, review, and manage contracts, including drafting and negotiating terms. (preferred)
Licenses & Certifications Driver's License (required)
FDOT Concrete Field Tech (preferred)
FDOT CTQP Asphalt Pav Tec (preferred)
FDOT CTQP Earthwork CI (preferred)
FDOT Pile Driving (preferred)
