Duties:

+ Advise and assist with the implementing DoD, USAF, DIA, and MAJCOM policies and directives for SCIF and SAPF construction, protection and operation.

+ Prepare accreditation packages, including fixed facility checklists, alarm diagrams, inspectable space determinations, and other essential physical requirements for approval.

+ Conduct initial and annual physical security inspections of SAP facilities, ensuring compliance with all relevant security standards.

+ Prepare and update all emergency action plans for SCIFs and SAPFs.

+ Work closely with architects and engineers, and construction teams to integrate security requirements into the design and construction process.

+ Ensure all construction and maintenance activities comply with ICD 705, DoD directives, and other applicable regulations.

Requirements:

+ Bachelor's degree in relevant discipline.

+ 3 years of relevant experience desired.

+ Security Certifications:
Obtain the Security Fundamentals Professional Certification (SFPC) and Special Program Security Certification (SPSC) within two years of employment if not already certified.
Additional security-related certifications may be required based on program needs.

+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

+ Demonstrated skill in Report Writing.

+ Experience working within a Special Access Program (SAP) environment desired.

+ Familiarity with government regulations, policies, and procedures related to SAP facility requirements desired.

+ Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret security data and provide actionable insights desired.

Security Clearance:
Must have and be able to maintain a Top-Secret security clearance.
