About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and driven Traveling Commercial Construction Superintendent to oversee and manage projects across multiple locations. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, excels in communication, and ensures that every project is delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage all on-site construction activities for commercial projects, ensuring compliance with plans, specifications, and safety regulations.
Coordinate daily with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to maintain schedules and resolve issues.
Enforce site safety protocols to provide a safe working environment for all personnel.
Monitor project timelines and budgets, proactively addressing potential delays or overruns.
Conduct regular site meetings and maintain clear, concise project documentation.
Travel as required to various job sites, staying on location for the duration of the project as needed.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a superintendent in commercial construction, including traveling roles.
Strong knowledge of construction processes, means, methods, and safety standards.
Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to manage diverse teams.
Proficiency in interpreting blueprints, drawings, and project documents.
Ability to travel extensively and stay on-site for the duration of projects.
Proficiency in construction management software is a plus.
