Job Title: Surgical Services Technician

Shift: Day 3x12-Hour (11:00 - 23:30)
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week for 3x12's
Experience: 18 months required; 2 years preferred
License: Pending License not accepted
Certifications: BLS required; NBSTSA/NCCT preferred
Must-Have:
• Strong Vascular and CVOR experience
• Nicotine-free as required by facility policy
• Provide support in the cardiac operating room; will perform other surgical tech duties if no cardiac cases are available.
• Orientation includes 16 hours of training.
• Cardiac on-call duties required, with the frequency depending on staffing levels.
• Must be able to handle time-sensitive modules and prioritize effectively.
• Compliance with nicotine-free policy and negative result on a 10-panel + nicotine drug screen required.
• Utilize EPIC charting system.
• Weekend and on-call requirements will be discussed during the interview.
• Be prepared to perform a range of duties as needed, with potential to float between facilities to meet needs.
• Ensure all readiness tasks and compliance documents are completed prior to starting.
• Facility operates as a smoke-free environment, with no exceptions.
Please Note:
• Strong customer service skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team are essential.
• First-time travelers are accepted.
• Candidates will undergo an EKG and Pharm test during orientation, with study materials provided in advance.
