Job Summary:
The Figure Skating Coordinator is responsible for supporting the Figure Skating Director with the for the day-to-day management, organization and administration of all Baptist Health IcePlex Programming for the Figure Skating Department.
Job Functions:
Specific duties include but are not limited to:

Communications between coaches, staff, athletes, parents and arena management.
Input and manage all Learn to Skate, freestyle and other skating programming in the DaySmart point of sale (POS) system
Inform customers of daily schedule and/or changes via email, social media, and phone.
Keep all customer accounts updated
Act as figure monitor when needed
Be a presence for families during Learn to Skate classes. Assist with running classes
Resolve the Aging Report.
Respond to all calls and emails in a timely manner
Perform Manager on Duty shifts when needed
Additional duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Strong Skating Skills and understanding of the developmental pipeline
Strong Computer Skills, including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel, with the ability to quickly learn other software systems.
Strong customer service skills, and ability to resolve conflict
Strong communication skills, both internally with staff and externally with customers
Detail oriented, well-organized, and able to work independently on assigned tasks while under pressure.
The ability to work as a team player and have good self-motivational skills.
Sound organizational and time management skills.
Job reliability, diligence, dedication and attention to detail.
Must be at least 18 years of age and have a valid driver's license.
A flexible schedule - ability to work nights, weekends and holidays as needed.

Physical Requirements:

Be able to lift, push, and pull 50 pounds with no assistance.
Sitting, standing, walking, kneeling
Low to high decibel levels of noise
Must be able to work in a cold environment and on the ice for extended periods of time

Work Environment This position works in a professional ice hockey practice facility, where the noise level is generally high, crowd traffic is heavy, and temperatures are often cold; lights are bright or dark with occasional exposure to flashing lights
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

This is a Full-Time Exempt position. Must be able to work a flexible schedule including late nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
