What you will do:
You will manage the facility maintenance and projects to improve facilities and utilities for the Florence, KY Components Plant. The primary responsibility of this position is to ensure that the facility is operating as it should, this may include dealing with emergency issues, training outside contractors on site rules, and working with all functional area leaders to achieve optimal outcomes.
How you will do it:
Initiate, implement, and manage the facility maintenance program with an emphasis on planning, scheduling, and preventative/predictive/productive maintenance.

Provide technical support and coordination for facility maintenance-related items. Coordinate all building and site maintenance excluding production equipment maintenance.

Construction/plant design & engineering calculations.

Communicate directly with operations to coordinate facility maintenance repairs.

Track, analyze, and improve the key facility maintenance parameters such as asset utilization, maintenance cost, PM compliance, schedule adherence, etc.

Monitor operations of facility equipment and systems to minimize unplanned downtime, anticipate and solve problems promptly, and identify opportunities for improvement.

Develop a preventative maintenance program for the facility equipment. You will use a computerized maintenance management system (Maximo) to track work orders, spare parts, and facility equipment maintenance history.

Manage capital projects - for new utilities, refurbishment, and construction. Manage assigned projects, quotes from outside contractors, propose solutions, timeline, resources, and reporting.

Interact with plant management to understand and define the scope of proposed capital projects for facilities and utilities.

What we look for:
Required

Bachelor's degree, preferably in BSc/BA in facility management, engineering (civil or mechanical), business administration, electrical engineering or relevant field.

Minimum 5 years of industrial experience.

Minimum 5 years project management experience.

HVAC, Electromechanical, controls, and Hydraulic Systems Experience.

Preferred .

2 years concurrent supervisory experience in managing/supervising technicians or contractors.

OSHA/EPA experience desirable.
