The EMT will be responsible for:

Assisting in the care of critically ill neonatal and pediatric patients.

Managing transport equipment.

Operating the Boston Children's Hospital ambulance.

Managing radio critical care transport team telephone requests.

Manage Emergency Department referrals ('expects') from the region.

Arranging ambulance discharges from Boston Children's Hospital.

Trauma activations.

Coordinating the transfer of diagnostic images.

Facilitating telemedicine consults with several hospital emergency departments.

To qualify, you must have:

A High School diploma or equivalent.

A current valid driver's license.

A Minimum of 3 years EMT experience (experience in a 911 system is preferred).

Good communication skills.

The ability to work on a team
• Sign-on bonus of $5,000.00 if hired before 1/31/25 (who have not worked at BCH in the past 2 years.)
