Allied Resources is looking for a

I & E Engineering Specialist

with experience working at Industrial plants for an exciting Full-time opportunity with a forward-thinking and innovative Chemical company based in Linden, NJ.

A Day in the Life:

Ensure adherence to safety protocols and IA&E best practices, contributing to a safe work environment.
Lead IA&E project teams, providing engineering expertise in the review, development, and execution of new projects.
Address issues concerning IA&E equipment reliability, engineering, design, procurement, installation, and project start-up.
Support the development of technical documents such as P&IDs, loop drawings, and electrical diagrams.
Provide technical specifications for equipment selection and sizing, encompassing control valves, instruments, analyzers, and electrical components.
Conduct thorough reviews of vendor documentation and perform QA/QC checks on supplied equipment and contractor engineering.
Offer expert insights on codes, regulations, and safety techniques including NEC and hazardous area classification.
Assist in establishing spare part strategies and contribute to the IA&E bad actor program for issue resolution.
Utilize SAP for updating equipment records, repair histories, and technical data, supporting business processes related to IA&E equipment.
The Wish List:

Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering required with 5-10+ years of related industry experience.
Proficiency in industrial process control instrumentation and analyzers, (SIS), and industrial electrical systems (120V - 6900V, motors, substations, switchgear).
Knowledge of NEC, hazardous area classification, intrinsically safe techniques, and explosion proof methods, with experience collaborating with vendors/contractors.
Familiarity with SAP and I/C protocols such as HART, TCP/IP, RS232/485.
