ELECTRICAL ENGINEER

As an electrical engineering technician at Vac-Con you will be part of a team leading the design of and supporting the manufacturing of Vacuum/Hydro-excavation trucks.

Electrical Engineer Technician Minimum Requirements:
Associates Degree in Electronics Engineering Technology or equivalent
Ability to read and understand electrical prints and to modify prints in AutoCAD and creating electrical drawings in AutoCAD.
Assists in plant and design troubleshooting
Must be able to create harnesses and create schematics
Must be a self-starter and motivated
Must perform well under pressure
Must thrive in fast paced environment
Preferred Requirements:

AutoCAD experience
Hydraulic systems knowledge a plus
CAN Network systems knowledge a plus
Will report to Manager and Project Manager
Preferred 1-5 years' experience in the Mobile Equipment System Design
CODESYS experience
Basic understanding of trucks and chassis
Electrical Engineer Technician Responsibilities:

Assist with the implementation of newly designed products.
Support production builds for new features
Provide trouble shooting expertise to assist diagnosis of vehicles
Performing a wide range of engineering tasks by operating computer-assisted design or engineering software and equipment.
Conferring with customers, engineers, and others to discuss existing or potential engineering products or projects.
Ensuring that installation and operations conform to standards and customer requirements by preparing electrical systems.
Assist with establishing construction, manufacturing, or installation standards or specifications by performing a wide range of detailed calculations.
Writing reports and compiling data regarding existing and potential electrical engineering projects and studies.
Preparing specifications for purchases of electrical equipment and materials.
Maintaining electrical equipment.
