POSITION OVERVIEW
As


you'll be a critical member of our corporate shared services responsible for shaping the strategic direction and performance of the Information Technology department in alignment with our business objectives. The Director of IT's mission is to provide technical leadership, strategic vision and operational improvements, while building and leading a dynamic Information Technology team. You'll focus on implementing, communicating, and supporting strategic direction and plans to amplify the performance of our Information Technology department.
OBJECTIVES YOU WILL MEET
As the


you will lead and oversee the operation and performance of the Information Technology department. Objectives include:

Develop strategy and ensure efficient execution in the IT department to make sure it is supporting the needs of the organization in a responsive, well-communicated, and secure manner.
Oversee cybersecurity initiatives to safeguard data, systems, and client information. Any of the following credentials are beneficial: CISSP, CompTIA Security+, CCSP, CISA, CISM, CRISC.
Oversee the workload of the team including delegation of tasks, projects, etc. and ensure successful execution.
Monitor performance of IT infrastructure and processes to determine organizational effectiveness and recommend strategic initiatives to enhance growth and improvement.
Support and lead ERP and data integration of future business acquisitions.
Facilitate development plans and provide quality assessments of overall work performed by the team.
Provide guidance and training to others through mentoring and leadership.
Set and monitor department budget, including financial forecasting.
Regulatory and Compliance: Identify and implement the necessary certifications to meet compliance and client requirements.
Oversee the company's internal operational systems to ensure they are aligned with organizational needs.
Serve as a leadership role model, fostering a culture of technical excellence and establishing standards for proficiency across the technical teams.
Utilize, support, and enhance standards and best practices.
Understand and follow all safety, conduct, and policy requirements established by the company and clients.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Successful candidates should have a minimum of 10 years of experience in Information Technology and be a proven leader. A combination of industry experience, operational excellence, and related degrees will be considered.
As important as the desired experience, effectively leading the IT department requires a leader with a high level of competence and confidence but also stays humble and maintains a curious mindset. We welcome and embrace a host of different backgrounds, perspectives, and approaches to work. We also understand the importance of being transparent with our expectations. We do not expect candidates to "check-the-box" on all below:

Ability to prioritize and handle multiple assignments while maintaining a positive attitude and living our core values.
Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and highly organized, with the capacity to drive success through structured processes and clear objectives.
Strong technical expertise, including knowledge of cyber-security, hardware/software, and scalable systems.
Exceptional leadership and communication skills with the ability to bridge business and technical perspectives.
Strategic thinker with excellent problem-solving abilities.
Solid understanding of business operations and financial management.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage cross-functionally across teams.
Experience leading an organization through SOC 2 or ISO 27001 certification.
Strong understanding in any of the following: VMWare - Hypervisor, HPE StoreOnce, Sharepoint development, Snowflake, Matillion, SQL Server, Power BI, SSRS, SSIS, data warehousing and ETL, Zero Trust, Software Defined Networking, and/or network architecture.
Adapts behavior to changing circumstances.
Develops meaningful relationships to build trust.
Provides effective coaching, feedback, mentoring of others.
