The Director of Ambulatory Pharmacy is responsible for the following functions:

responsibilities:
Responsible for adherence to or compliance with all applicable Federal and State Laws as well as Regulatory or Accreditation rules/standards that are applicable to provision of Pharmaceutical Care Services in ambulatory medical clinics.Operational, clinical, and financial oversite of outpatient drug utilization and distribution for Salem Health Medical Group.Accountable for quality measures related to medication management in Salem Health Medical Group clinics.Accountable for 340B Strategy and Program Operations.

Education:
Pharm-D degree required; will also accept bachelor's in pharmacy with masters degree.
Experience:
Minimum 5 years of pharmacist experience required.
Minimum 5 years of experience in a complex leadership role required.
Licenses / Certifications / Registration:
Registered Pharmacist with the Oregon Board of Pharmacy (or eligible) required; must be licensed within the state of Oregon within two months of hire.
BCPS preferred.
PGY1 Residency preferred.
PGY2 Residency or Fellowship preferred.
Special knowledge, skills, & abilities:
Must have knowledge and experience in pharmacy equivalent to a fully trained and competent pharmacist.
Must have supervisor skills and communication skills.
