Diesel Technician

CrossCountry Freight Solutions is hiring a Mechanic. We are looking for qualified applicants who can have a safety first mindset, work independently, and recognize/resolve facility and vehicle maintenance problems.
Shift :Monday-Friday, 6am-2:30pm
Pay : $24-$29/hour (depending on experience and skills)

What you can expect a typical day to look like:

Perform vehicle and powered equipment inspections on a regular basis
Schedule repairs and services with vendors as needed
Maintain accurate vehicle compliance files in an organized manner
Create a positive and productive work atmosphere by communicating and behaving in a professional and team-like manner with other employees and customers
What you will need to succeed on the job:

Prior experience in the transportation industry preferred
Ability to administer a vehicle maintenance schedule
College education in mechanics or working knowledge of diesel trucks or tractor trailers preferred
