Position Description:


The Division of Pediatric Psychology and Developmental Medicine at the Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW)/Children's Wisconsin (CW) is seeking a Physician with experience and expertise in autism and developmental disabilities to join our multidisciplinary team.
This position will include program development, in addition to diagnostic evaluations as well as medication management.
While the diagnostic focus will be on autism, the clinic also serves children with attention concerns, learning problems, language disorders, anxiety, and other developmental issues.
The successful candidate for this position will be part of a multi-disciplinary team that also includes speech/language pathology and psychology.
Clinical, research, education and collaborative opportunities will be available in the Child Development Center and other clinics and programs throughout the Department of Pediatrics, MCW and Children's Wisconsin.

Rank upon appointment will be commensurate with experience.

Children's Wisconsin

Rooted in care, advocacy, research and education, Children's Wisconsin is a nationally recognized health system dedicated solely to the health and well-being of children.
It provides primary, specialty, urgent, and emergency care, in addition to mental and behavioral health, community health, and foster and adoption services.
Children's Wisconsin also has multiple family resource centers and offers child and family counseling and child advocacy services.

With hospitals in both Fox Valley and Milwaukee, Children's serves as the primary pediatric hospital for all of the children of Southeast Wisconsin and is the main referral center for children living throughout Wisconsin and northern Illinois.
Children's Wisconsin continues to be recognized by organizations around the country like Parent's Magazine and US News and World Report for its high-quality standard of care and outcomes.
Its reputation draws patients and families from around the country and around the world for subspecialty care.

The Milwaukee hospital is a 298-bed facility that houses our emergency department and Level I Trauma Center and 11 patient care units, including a 72-bed pediatric intensive care unit and a 70-bed Level IV neonatal intensive care unit.
It is a major teaching affiliate of MCW and is affiliated with several schools of nursing.

The population of the City of Milwaukee is approximately 600,000 and approximately 1.8 million people live in the greater Milwaukee area.
Regionally located less than two hours from the Chicago metro area, you can enjoy all that Wisconsin has to offer while still traveling to the "big city" life.

Position Requirements:

  • Eligible candidates should have an MD or DO and be board certified in Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrics.
