Demand Planning Analyst I, II, or III

Responsibilities:
Market Research and Analysis:
Analyze and interpret market data to provide actionable insights for demand forecasting
Demand Planning Forecasting:
Utilize data and software to review historical sales trends, research demand drivers, and evaluate forecast results
Continuously refine forecasting models to improve accuracy and responsiveness to market changes
Adhere to IBP methodology through the cross-functional collaboration of sales, marketing, commercial planning & finance.
You will own and leverage our o9 Connected Planning solution's driver based forecasting tool, statistical analyses, analyzing downstream data (Nielsen, IRI), and managing product life cycles.
Data Analytics:
Use advanced data analysis tools and techniques to identify patterns, outliers and opportunities in demand and sales data
Develop and maintain dashboards and reports that provide real-time visibility into demand trends
Experience leveraging AI / Machine learning for data driven decision making
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Collaborate with Data Scientist, Sales, Marketing, and Product teams to gather insights, share demand forecasts and align strategies
Act as a liaison between departments to ensure a unified approach to meeting market demand
Communicate changes in demand forecasts and their implications to stakeholders
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
Establish and monitor KPIs related to demand planning accuracy, forecast bias
Regularly report on performance against these KPIs and initiate corrective actions when necessary
Continuous Improvement:
Lead initiatives to enhance demand planning processes, incorporating best practices and automation where possible
Scenario Planning:
Assist in the development of contingency plans to address demand fluctuations
Communication and Presentation :
Ensure clear and effective communication of demand forecasts and changes to relevant teams
Adaptability:
Quickly adapt to new information and incorporate it into the demand planning process
Education:
Bachelor's Degree required
Experience (Analyst evaluation will be based on demand analytics experience)
Analyst I - 2 years
Analyst II - 4 years
Analyst III - 4-6 years
Experience with advanced planning and optimization within a Connected Planning Solution (o9, Anaplan)
Proven experience in demand planning, forecasting, or related roles
Familiarity with market research methodologies and techniques
IBP/S&OP process experience
Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry experience preferred
