We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Medical/Surgical Nursing team. The RN will provide exceptional patient care, utilizing clinical expertise, critical thinking, and a collaborative approach. This role is ideal for a professional dedicated to delivering high-quality care in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment.
Responsibilities:

Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care for individuals on the medical/surgical unit.
Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed.
Monitor patients' conditions, reporting any changes to the physician or healthcare team promptly.
Develop and maintain care plans based on patient needs and goals.
Provide education to patients and families on medical conditions, procedures, and post-discharge care.
Maintain accurate and detailed medical records and documentation.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care.
Adhere to infection prevention protocols and promote patient safety standards.
Support new staff and participate in ongoing training and professional development activities.

Qualifications:

Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Associate's or bachelor's degree in nursing).
Licensure: Current and unrestricted RN license in the state of practice.
Certifications: BLS required; ACLS preferred.
Experience: Previous experience in a Medical/Surgical unit preferred, but new graduates with a strong clinical background are encouraged to apply.
