Days ON-CALL: Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our healthcare team. The Occupational Therapist will evaluate, plan, and implement therapeutic programs to help patients develop, regain, or maintain their daily living and work skills. This role focuses on enhancing patients' independence and quality of life while collaborating with other healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities:

Evaluate patients' physical, emotional, and social needs through comprehensive assessments.
Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient goals, abilities, and medical conditions.
Implement therapy interventions to improve or restore patients' functional abilities in areas such as mobility, self-care, and communication.
Educate patients and their families on strategies to manage daily activities and use adaptive equipment.
Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed to achieve desired outcomes.
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, physical therapists, and other healthcare professionals to provide holistic care.
Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient evaluations, progress, and outcomes.
Provide guidance on workplace ergonomics, injury prevention, and health promotion as needed.
Stay updated with the latest occupational therapy practices, research, and technologies.
Ensure compliance with professional standards, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
Current state licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
Certification through the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT).
Strong knowledge of therapeutic techniques and principles.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build rapport with patients and team members.
Ability to assess patient needs and design effective treatment plans.
Experience with adaptive devices and equipment is preferred.
