Maintenance Journeyman - HVACLocation:
New Castle, DelawareResponsibilities:
Perform maintenance, repair, and installation of HVAC systems, including heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration units.Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve issues with HVAC equipment to ensure proper functioning and compliance with safety standards.Conduct routine inspections of HVAC systems, identifying and addressing potential problems before they escalate.Ensure all work is completed in accordance with local and national building codes and regulations.Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent on each task.Collaborate with other maintenance staff and departments to ensure the timely completion of repairs and installations.Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent, with formal HVAC training or apprenticeship.Seven (7) years of relevant experience in the commercial HVAC/plumbing Valid HVAC technician certification and relevant licenses as required by the state.Strong knowledge of HVAC system components, controls, and safety practices.Ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, and manuals to guide installation and repairs.Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.HVAC Journeyman License Compensation:
