We are searching for a Physical Therapist to join our Orthopedic Residency program!

At Aquacare Physical Therapy our Orthopedic Residency consists of advanced post-professional education in the specialty area of orthopedic physical therapy partnering with Evidence in Motion. Our curriculum is designed to provide post-professional clinical and didactic education to develop highly skilled evidence-based clinicians.

What Can you Expect?

A 12-month or 18-month program providing advanced clinical education/skills/experience/mentorship.
One-on-one mentorship with a board-certified clinician.
Structured faculty-led clinical and didactic education to improve your clinical practice and decision-making.
4 laboratories intensive in the area of Cervico-Thoracic, Lumbar-Pelvic, Upper Extremity, and Lower Extremity.
Course assistance in passing the OCS Exam.

Physical Therapist Education and Experience:

Licensed as a Physical Therapist by the Delaware state Board of Physical Therapy Examiners and/or part of the PT compact program.
Graduate of an accredited university with a minimum degree of Bachelor's in Physical Therapy that is recognized by the APTA.
Basic Life Support CPR Certification

License/Certification:

Physical Therapy License (Required)
CPR Certification (Preferred)

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times
Duties require extensive standing and walking
Duties require lifting, positioning, pushing, and/or transferring patients
Duties require frequent reaching, stooping, bending, kneeling, and crouching
