Our network of hospitals and healthcare facilities includes Denville Hospital, Dover Hospital, Behavioral Health Centers, and an Imaging Center, among others.
The successful candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional patient care in our Subacute Unit.
As an unlicensed assistive person, you will work under the supervision of Registered Nurses to provide basic nursing care, assist with daily living activities, and maintain a safe environment.
To be considered for this role, you must have a strong foundation in Medical Terminology and at least six months of experience in an acute care hospital setting.
A current BLS certification from the American Heart Association is also required.
Responsibilities Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
Provide basic nursing care, such as vital sign measurements and wound care
Maintain patient confidentiality and dignity
Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care
Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
Minimum six months experience in an acute care hospital setting
Strong knowledge of Medical Terminology
Working Conditions This role requires standing for long periods, lifting up to 50 pounds, and frequent walking.
You must be able to lift, push, and pull equipment as needed.
Salary Range:
$45,000 - $60,000 per year
