• PCU experience- Minimum 2 years of medical/surgical experience- BLS/ACLS certifications- Must reside more than 100 miles from the facility
• Perform general nursing duties and procedures in a Progressive Care Unit setting- Use Cerner System with an ongoing EPIC conversion; operate Omnicell automated medication cabinets- Work rotating shifts (AP/PA) from Sunday through Saturday; on-call option available- Employee will always work on the unit with others- Potential for floating to other units such as MedSurg- 20-bed step-down unit with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 4:
1- Dress code is navy blue- Participate in a unit-specific training and orientation program:
One day onboarding with Educator and two days on the unit with a Registered Nurse- Every other week RN orientation; guaranteed hours not applicable during orientation
