Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN - Med/Surg - Main 6 Ortho

Shift: Nights / 7p-7:30a, 12x3, 36hrs per week

Length: 13 weeks

Weekend Requirement: 50% weekends

Rotating shifts can vary between switching between days and nights within the same week and/or working a few weeks of days and then a few weeks of nights. Flexibility is a must.

Requirements:

DC License
Must have 2 years experience
IV Start required
BSN
BLS
Prefer at least one prior travel contract if less than 4 years experience
Minimum 4 years nursing experience if first time traveler

Main6 Ortho/MS - 36HRS N

Start Date: 11/4

Pending DC license accepted but MUST have license prior to start date

Certs Required :BLS

Cert Preferred: BSN

Skills Required: IV Start

Patient Diagnoses

Orthopedics: Primary total joint (hip and knee) replacement, revision of total joint replacement, spine surgery, ankle replacement, total shoulder replacement

Limb Salvage: Diabetic wounds, venous/arterial stasis wounds, surgical debridement, amputations,

Urology: Prostatectomy, nephrectomy, stent placement

Other: The patient population is mostly surgical patients but many have other comorbidities and may be followed by the medicine team or other specialty teams during their stay.

Must have 2 years experience

Required to float within units of equivalent or lower level of acuity.

Weekend Requirement: 50% weekends

HARD STOP At least 2 yrs specialty exp required
