Position Description:

US CITIZENSHIP AND ACTIVE TOP SECRET CLEARANCE IS REQUIREDCGI Federal is currently seeking Cloud Developers with active Top-Secret clearances to support a large project for a federal government client.
The team is responsible for maintaining the clients cloud accounts, VPCs, and cloud-managed services with automated processes consistent with industry best practices in DevOps.
This position can be filled in the Washington, DC area.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

The Sr Cloud Engineer supports solution development with subject matter experts and engineers to build Cloud Solution Offerings focused on Enterprise level data.
The Cloud Developer will provide subject matter experience and expertise with the ability to clearly present concepts and services to help build innovative cloud solutions.
Responsible for designing and implementing core infrastructure systems which will support the creation of innovative cloud solutions.
Defines the system landscape, identify gaps between the current and desired end-states, and delivers cloud-based solutions.
Recommends alternate choices, trade-offs, and impact analysis.
Works with technical teams and senior architects to finalize specifications related to integration between systems.
Understands security and identifies encryption and controls needed to protect information.
Collaborates with technical teams and management to ensure cloud services align to roadmaps and understand the effect on the organizations information architecture.
Liaises with external providers to resolve any issues in the functionality and interoperability of new cloud applications, cloud-based infrastructure, and other cloud services with existing IT systems.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

Bachelors degree in Information Technology or related discipline.
Minimum of 8 years experience as a Cloud Developer.
Amazon Web Services, to include the build and deployment of Amazon Machine Images (AMIs) Microsoft Azure Cloud, to include the build and deployment of Azure Virtual Machines (AVMs) GitLab JFROG Artifactory Splunk Nessus Tenable Security Center Active Top-Secret clearance.Please note that due to the nature of this government contract, US Citizenship is required.CGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role.
The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and license and certifications.
To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role.
Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S.
