The Finance department supports the Global operations of PSI. This includes operations in 60+ countries. The Senior Financial Analyst will provide project financial oversight for a portfolio of countries and complex, multi-country donor projects.

PSI seeks a Senior Analyst, Financial with advanced Excel skills, who has finance acumen and strong business and analytical abilities. The Senior Analyst, Financial will monitor and analyze financial data to inform risk mitigation and provide timely, thoughtful financial insight to aid program management decisions. This position will work across multiple program teams.

What You'll Do

Collaborate with project and program managers to perform the Monthly Project Financial Review (MPFR) process and analyze project budgets, actual expenses, commitments, obligations, and burn rates.

Review financial reports prior to submission to funders; provide detailed input for preparation of financial reports.

Provide quality control for financial management of subawards, including reviewing and processing subrecipient invoices and cash requests.

Maintain a dashboard to monitor the financial health of the region, including surplus/deficit, program income, and overhead.

Lead development of the department's piece of the annual operating budget, including re-forecasting and quarterly reviews.

Support in developing project budgets and realignment in collaboration with the program management team.

Review and process Operating Advance Requests from field offices.

Other duties as required.

10-25% international travel.

What You'll Bring

Bachelor's Degree (or international equivalent) in a related field.

At least 7 years of related experience in donor-funded finance or accounting.

Expert Excel user, including pivot tables and advanced functions.

Fluent in English required; proficiency in French, Spanish, Portuguese or regional languages desired.

Familiarity with USAID or other international donors' rules and regulations.

Demonstrated analytical skills and financial expertise.

Experience living or working outside the US preferred.

Salary Ranges:

PSI is committed to pay equity and transparency. Actual base salary compensation will be determined by factors such as a candidate's qualifications and experience.

PSI is offering the following gross annual salary ranges for this position:

For the United States (paid in USD): $86,000 (minimum) - $108,000 (midpoint) - $130,000 (maximum)

For Kenya (paid in Ksh): Ksh 3,960,000 (minimum) - Ksh 6,600,000 (midpoint) - Ksh 8,580,000 (maximum)

For International Assignees (paid in USD): $66,000 (minimum) - $83,000 (midpoint) - $100,000 (maximum)
