GW Hospital achieved "high performing" status in six specialty areas:
Neurology and Neurosurgery; Orthopedics; Pulmonology and Lung Surgery; Gastroenterology and Gastrointestinal Surgery; Urology; and Geriatrics, along with receiving high performing designations for the following eight common procedure and condition areas:
Heart Failure; Heart Attack; Kidney Failure; Leukemia, Lymphoma, and Myeloma; Prostate Cancer Surgery; Stroke; Hip Fracture; and Diabetes.

POSITION SUMMARY

To provide administrative support and coordinate patient medical treatment in accordance with policies, procedures and goals of the organization.

• Education/Qualification

• High School diploma or equivalent

• Previous experience in a medical office or hospital required

• Skills

• Knowledge of medical office procedure including but not limited to customer service, documentation and HIPAA requirements

• Basic knowledge of CPT and ICD coding

• Ability to communicate effectively through verbal and written formats

• • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
