Responsibilities Cedar Hill Regional Medical Center - Opening in 2025!When open in early 2025, Cedar Hill Regional Medical Center GW Health will be the first new full-service hospital in Washington, DC in more than 20 years! This teaching hospital will integrate clinical care with existing providers, The George Washington University Hospital, and the Urgent Care Center in Ward 8.
This clinical integration will establish a robust system of care for all District residents, but more importantly, it will ensure residents of Wards 7 and 8 have access to high quality care in their community.This full-service hospital will include 136 beds (with the ability to expand to 184 beds), a verified trauma center, adult and pediatric emergency departments, maternal health and delivery, an ambulatory pavilion for physician offices, clinics, a community space, a 500-car garage and a helipad for emergency transports.To learn more visit *** or ***/cedar-hill-regional-medical-center .We are seeking a MRI Technologist (Part-Time)Our ideal candidate will report to the designated leader within the Imaging Department.
As a Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) Technologist, you will provide clinical services according to MRI practice standards and act as a resource to MRI students and other technologists while ensuring optimal department functions.
To help achieve our mission, you will administer sound patient care practices according to department/hospital policies and procedures while ensuring patient safety.
Your ability to demonstrate magnetic safety for patients, staff and self as outlined in department protocols and regulatory guidelines is of vital importance.
Maintaining equipment, exam rooms and work areas in a neat and safe condition, to ensure the safety of the patients and team members, is required.

Qualifications Requirements:
High School Graduate or equivalent.
Diploma from certified school of Radiology.
Current ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA).
Two (2) years of experience as a MRI tech and acute care experience preferred.
BS or MS in healthcare preferred.

Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Demonstrates knowledge and ensures compliance with all regulatory bodies, e.g.
The Joint Commission and American College of Radiology (ACR) and Title 22 standards and guidelines.
Demonstrates compliance with hospital policies and procedures at all times.
Demonstrates strong leadership, organization, communication and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrates ability to relate to clinical personnel and medical staff, as well as ability to interact well with the public.
Must have working knowledge of computers and basic management applications.
