We are currently seeking a talented and motivated Desktop Technician V for a Full-Time position.

Job Summary:

Desktop Technician V is a senior-level technical specialist and team leader providing expert-level IT support and project management for the customer. This role oversees IT initiatives, manages teams, and ensures adherence to best practices in IT service delivery.

Responsibilities:

Manage IT projects from initiation to completion.
Provide expert-level troubleshooting for complex hardware, software, and networking issues.
Lead and mentor a team of desktop technicians (5+ staff).
Implement IT best practices and continuous improvement initiatives.
Maintain compliance with federal security policies and IT regulations.
Develop and manage technical documentation, workflows, and operational procedures.
Manage deployment of new technologies across multiple locations.

Required Qualifications:

Associate degrees or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Minimum 5 years of IT support experience with team leadership responsibilities.
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft OS, Office Suite, and specialized software (GIS, AutoCAD).
Proven experience managing IT projects and teams.
Strong organizational and communication skills.

Preferred Skills:

ITIL v3 certification or knowledge.
Project management certifications (e.g., PMP).
Experience in federal IT environments.
