A law firm in Washington D.C. seeks an Attorney with 2-4 years of commercial litigation experience. The successful candidate will handle various legal matters, contribute to the firm's litigation practice, and provide exceptional legal services to clients.
Duties:
Conduct legal research and analysis related to commercial litigation matters
Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery materials
Represent clients in court hearings, arbitrations, and other legal proceedings
Manage case files, including organizing documents, tracking deadlines, and communicating with clients
Collaborate with senior attorneys and partners on complex litigation matters
Assist in settlement negotiations and alternative dispute resolution processes
Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and legal developments in commercial litigation
Requirements:
2-4 years of experience in commercial litigation
Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
Admission to the District of Columbia Bar
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively
