Job Title: CVOR REGISTERED NURSE (RN)

Position Overview:

ATC Healthcare is seeking an experienced and CVOR NURSE (RN), Cardiovascular Operating Room Nurse specializes in the care of cardiovascular patients before, during and following surgical procedures. The CVOR nurse participates in the sedation of patients and assists physicians during the procedure by administering medications, monitoring vital signs and applying dressings. Job Details :

Assignment Length: 15 weeks

Start Date: January 06, 2025

Shift: Day shift, 40 hours per week

8 hours shifts, M-F 0630-1500

Call: Yes

Weekend: No

Pay Rate: Competitive pay of $2680 per week, with weekly pay, $860 tax and $1820 stipend

Job Requirements:

2 years' experience, Open and Endovascular Surgery experience required

Active TX or compact RN license

BLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association)

Proficiency in scrubbing and circulating for cardiovascular surgical procedures

Experience in open-heart, vascular, and thoracic surgeries preferred

Familiarity with EMR systems (EPIC experience is a plus)

Additional Requirements: compliance with current facility health standards

Job Responsibilities:

2-10 CV cases a day, 2 CT surgeons, 8 vascular surgeons

Level I trauma center, 29 ORs across 2 buildings

Provide exceptional perioperative care in the Cardiovascular Operating Room

Prepare the operating room and instruments for procedures

Monitor patients and assist the surgical team throughout procedures

Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare team members

Maintain a sterile field and ensure patient safety and comfort
