We are currently seeking Per Diem Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) at Maplewood at Newtown. As an LPN, you will assist the Resident Services Director in delivering high-quality nursing services within our community. To apply, you must be a Licensed Practical Nurse currently licensed to practice in the State.
Key Responsibilities:
Administer medications and provide direct care to residents
Educate residents and families on wellness and health promotion
Assist in assessments under the supervision of the Resident Services Director (RN)
Oversee and mentor Certified Nursing Assistants
Conduct training for associates and ensure quality of care
Participate in monthly in-service training
Education/Experience/Licensure/Certification:
Must hold an active Licensed Practical Nurse license in the State
Minimum of two years of full-time clinical experience
Experience working with older adults strongly preferred
Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs.
Strong interpersonal skills to maintain positive relationships with residents, families, and staff
Must be in good physical and emotional health and free of communicable diseases
Maplewood Senior Living conducts pre-employment screening, which includes background checks, drug testing, and reference checks.
