Job Summary
Our Critical Care Unit Registered Nurses work collaboratively to deliver compassionate, personalized care to patients with critical health needs.
They employ evidence-based practices and the nursing process to develop care plans that meet the physical, emotional, spiritual, cultural, and educational needs of patients and their families.
This role requires Graduate of a school of nursing (BSN preferred), one (1) year RN experience and/or successful completion of The William W.
Backus Hospital Nurse Residency Program, ability to obtain and maintain Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within 90 days of hire, current unrestricted License in good standing to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Connecticut, and current Basic Life Support (BLS) upon hire.
