Overview:
Seeking a results-oriented employee with positive enthusiasm for a position supporting the Electric Boat Travel Program involving accounting and expense reporting. In addition, this role is responsible for business analysis related to Electric Boat Accounts Payable.
Responsibilities:
Support expense report processing using Concur Travel and Management tool including employee questions, resolution of travel violations, etc.
Support audit requirements relative to expense reporting
Administer American Express associated travel services
Support accounting and reporting of extended work assignments (EWA) and relocation expenses
Analyze and resolve various accounts payable invoice related matters
Qualifications:
Required:
Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting
Experience reporting financial data
Preferred:
Prior experience working with Oracle based financial applications
Prior experience working with Concur Software
Prior experience with Balance Sheet Reconciliations
Skills:
Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of management as well as external agencies
Strong analytical skills to effectively formulate queries, create reports, and analyze data
Possess strong computer system skills with operational dexterity
Ability to recognize opportunities for process efficiencies
Ability to work as a team player in as fast paced, deadline driven environment
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to extract, compile, and report financial data
Possess strong initiative and positive attitude
