Summary

As the Manager of Audit Product Management, you will be responsible for applying domain knowledge of the profession to support the growth and expansion of the OnPoint DAS Suite. This includes supporting activities and tactical execution that advance product strategy, development, and positioning to ensure market competitiveness and alignment with overall business objectives. You will work closely with cross-functional teams such as sales, product methodology and development, marketing, communications, operations and others, to deliver on these goals to drive success of the products.

Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Product Knowledge
• Utilizing experience in audit, applying core, fundamental, technical audit experience to become proficient, and maintain a deep knowledge of the DAS product suite, which includes solutions for financial statement audits, employee benefit plans audits, preparations, compilations and review engagements as well as the integration of these products with other applications in the OnPoint DAS Suite.
• Ability to use prior experience as a practitioner, coupled with an understanding of the evolving market needs of CPA firms around practice transformation and the DAS OnPoint product suite, to deliver on tasks.
• Staying up to date with both product changes and audit standards to ensure interactions with cross functional teams reflects the most current and relevant information.
• Drive and support the development and maintenance of process documentation.
• Assist in building product management infrastructure SOPs.

Product Strategy & Vision:
• Play a key support role to help inform the overall strategy and vision for the product offering based on market research, customer feedback, and business objectives.
• Perform tactical execution of projects that support product management.
• Assist in the process around product roadmap including taking direction on activities that help advance the priorities of the organization and the partnership.

Market Research & Competitive Analysis:
• Assist in conducting market research to identify customer needs, market trends, and competitive positioning.
• Be fluent and stay up to date on audit trends in innovation, technology, firm dynamics, for a national customer base across various firm revenue sizes.
• Analyze competitor products and strategies to identify areas of differentiation and market opportunities.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:
• Provide an auditor's voice in the collaboration with design, marketing and communication teams to ensure timely and successful materials to support the product story and product updates.
• Work with marketing to inform market-facing content that is relevant and speaks to the profession.
• Support the sales enablement function, helping to inform and develop resources that communicate the product's value proposition key differentiators

Lifecycle Management:
• Help Identify opportunities for new versions, features, or enhancements based on market demands.
• Play a key role in development and maintenance of infrastructure around gathering customer feedback to continuously improve the product and ensure it meets user needs.

Qualifications:
• Education: Bachelor's degree in accounting, business, marketing, computer science, or a related field.

Experience:
• 4+ years' experience in an audit practice or a CPA firm.
• CPA or CPA candidate strongly preferred.
• Experience in product management, offering management or lifecycle understanding is a strong plus
• Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams.
• Proven ability to write clear, engaging, and accurate content, exemplifying knowledge of the profession with attention to detail that supports product awareness and expansion.
• Ability to convey audit and accounting concepts related to product in a concise and digestible manner.
• Experience with SAAS and agile development processes is a plus.
