Job Details Uses the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics Standards of Care and Nutrition Care Process to facilitate nutrition care of patients.
Screens patients for nutritional risk in accordance with departmental guidelines.
Performs comprehensive inpatient/client nutritional assessments and re-assessments across the age spectrum.
Develops nutrition care plan, interventions and goals based on desired outcomes for patient/client.
Monitors response to nutrition care plans, interventions, and goals and revises as appropriate.
Job Requirements One year of clinical dietitian experience, preferred.
Strong communication skills; ability to read, write and speak English.
Strong computer skills; experience with Microsoft Office programs.
Experience with Food Service Operations database and Dietetic software, preferred.
Schedule Information Floating may be required to any CommonSpirit location within sixty (60) miles of the original assignment location or CommonSpirit-identified 'float zone'.
Float assignments may include duties outside of original assignment job requirements in accordance with CommonSpirit policy.
Additional Details Participates in personal, professional and program development by attending department and hospital educational programs, in-service meetings and safety trainings.
Adheres to professional code of ethics and to all accreditation requirements.
