Cyber Security Technology (CST) is a globally distributed team responsible for cyber security innovation and architecture, engineering, security technology product management, solutions and capabilities development, cyber resiliency, access management engineering, data strategy, deployment maintenance, technical project management and information technology security control support.

The Process Design Consultant will be responsible for executing continuous improvement activities for the CST Product Management team and stakeholder groups across GIS and the Enterprise.

This position requires strong relationship management and communication skills to interact with senior leadership, managers, and staff at all levels of the organization to deliver against organizational priorities.

This role will partner with cross-functional stakeholders to facilitate transparency and consistency of work activities, and overall alignment to business and technology strategy.

Successful candidates will be optimistic leaders, good listeners, creative, and customer obsessed.

Key Responsibilities:

*Organize working groups & create process maps

*Listen to SMEs & notate process flows using Business Process Mapping Notation (BPMN)

*Depict information value streams and identify areas of waste

*Utilize best practice facilitation techniques to engage SMEs/participants

*Champion overall continuous improvement mission & spirit

*Understand big picture goals, team culture, and become an expert on assigned missions

*Infuse Lean & Six Sigma techniques to facilitate process improvements

*Communicate strategic improvement ideas and lead priorities set by the business

*Deliver effective process standardization that prioritizes human beings

*Organize & communicate information efficiently

*Enable Technology teams to deliver optimized solutions

*Create/execute clear plans to keep cross-functional stakeholders aligned

Business process notation and conceptual design

Business case development & business requirements analysis

Other Desired Skills:

Passion for continuous improvement

Formal training/certification in Lean, Six Sigma and/or other process quality methodologies

Ability to utilize logic & reason to navigate complex problem solving

Ability to navigate complex security technology environments

Experience using Visio or other Business Process Mapping Notation (BPMN) tools
