*About the Role:*

We are seeking a highly organized and enthusiastic Events Specialist to join our marketing team. In this role, you will be responsible for planning and executing a variety of events that promote Confluent.ios brand, engage our audience, and support business objectives.

*What You Will Do:*

+ Event Planning and Execution: Manage all aspects of event planning, including logistics, budgeting, venue selection, vendor management, and on-site coordination for both virtual and in-person events.

+ Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, such as marketing, sales, and product, to ensure alignment throughout the planning process and successful execution of events.

+ Promotion: Develop and implement event marketing strategies to drive attendance and engagement, utilizing various channels including social media, email marketing, and partnerships.

+ Vendor Management: Identify, negotiate with, and manage relationships with vendors and suppliers to achieve high-quality event delivery.

+ Budget Management: Monitor event budgets, ensuring all expenses remain within the approved limits and provide regular updates to stakeholders.

+ Post-Event Evaluation: Gather feedback and analyze event performance to measure success and identify areas for improvement in future events.

*What You Will Bring:*

+ Bachelors degree in event management, hospitality, marketing, or a related field.

+ 2-4 years of experience in event coordination, project management, or a similar role.

+ Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.

+ Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a knack for building relationships.

+ Proficiency in event management software, event technology, Slack and G-Suite

+ A proactive and adaptable mindset, capable of navigating fast-paced environments.

At Confluent, we are committed to providing competitive pay and benefits that are in line with industry standards. We analyze and carefully consider several factors when determining compensation, including work history, education, professional experience, and location. This position has an annual estimated salary of $88,500 - $103,950, an annual bonus, and a competitive equity package. The actual pay may vary depending on your skills, qualifications, experience, and work location. In addition, Confluent offers a wide range of employee benefits.
