Location: UCHealth Anschutz Inpatient Pavilion, US:CO:Aurora

Department: Radiology Diagnostic

FTE: Full Time, 0.9, 72.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks)

Shift: Weekend

Pay: $25.80 - $38.70 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience

Minimum Requirements:

Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program.
Registered as a Radiologic Technologist (R) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) (R) along with any required specialty ARRT certifications. State licensure must be obtained if required by law.
Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider certification through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR, valid for at least sixty days from hire date.

Responsibilities of the Radiologic Imaging Technologist:

Review patient history and initiate radiographic imaging per physician orders, prioritizing patient education for optimal understanding and cooperation.
Safely administer contrast media and associated imaging medications while closely monitoring patient condition.
Respond to and report any changes in patient condition appropriately.
Implement techniques to ensure clarity in imaging, along with quality control measures and equipment functionality based on established best practices in Radiology (AART).
