Internship Overview: As an FHU intern, you will have the opportunity to gain practical experience in one of the following areas:
Civil Engineering Design
Construction Engineering
Environmental Engineering
Environmental Sciences
Environmental Planning
GIS (Geographic Information Systems)
Structural Engineering
Traffic Engineering
Transportation Planning
Water Resource Engineering
You will contribute to real projects, developing your technical skills and gaining insights into the industry. This internship offers a supportive environment where you can explore your career interests and grow both personally and professionally.

Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the design, analysis, and planning of engineering projects.
Participate in fieldwork, data collection, and analysis.
Collaborate with team members to develop innovative solutions.
Prepare reports, presentations, and other documentation.
Utilize software and tools relevant to your field of study.
Internship Qualifications:
Undergraduate (Junior or higher status) or Graduate student in Civil Engineering or a related field.
Strong computer skills, including proficiency in relevant software.
Excellent mathematics, verbal, and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Availability for a 3-month internship. (Approximately June - August)
Preferred Skills:
Previous coursework in transportation, environmental studies, or a related field.
Fieldwork experience is a plus.
Working knowledge of and interest in transportation operations and planning.
Benefits
Starting salary is $23.00 hour.
