Senior Retirement Plan Manager

Essential job responsibilities include however are not limited to:

• Supports and demonstrates IMA's core values

• Manage high tier book of ~40 retirement plan clients with minimal guidance by processing client requests, resolving client inquiries, and make sure key client information is up to date.

• Accountable for delivery of services to plan sponsors, advisors, partners, and third-party administrators to maintain and develop strong client relationships.

• Schedule, prepare for and facilitate presentations. Presentations may include enrollment meetings, financial education meetings, plan review with the committee, etc. as requested by the plan sponsor, advisors, partners or third-party administrators.

• Use available resources to independently provide strategic recommendations & implementation of plan enhancements, including but not limited to vendor selection & conversions, plan design optimization, plan fee benchmarking, compliance oversight and investment due diligence.

• Demonstrate knowledge of ERISA and IRS codes 401(a), 401(k), profit sharing and related retirement plans.

• Drive client retention by delivering annual plan reviews and initiating proactive client contact.

• Promote new products and services to plan sponsors.

• Exhibit leadership and support in training/developing retirement plan managers

• Engage in available training and educational opportunities to stay current on the industry trends as well as internal policies and procedures

Required Experience and Skills: include however are not limited to:

• Bachelor's Degree and 10+ years related experience in the retirement plan industry preferred

• FINRA Series 7 & 66 (S63 & S65 acceptable as well) Required

• AIF designation required

• Moderate travel required (25-50%)

• Expert MS Office products required (specifically PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, and Excel)
