Title: Category Lead - Indirect Procurement
Location: Lakewood, Colorado (open to remote)
Schedule: Monday - Friday (Hybrid, 2-3 days onsite per week)
Compensation: $97,000 -$121,000 Plus 10% bonus
Type: Direct Hire
Start date: ASAP
Responsibilities: Follows specific standards, operating procedures, and detailed instructions in support of global purchasing and supplier policies.
Examines and processes purchasing requisitions for completeness and accuracy of information and correct coding; contacts stakeholder to clarify or obtain missing information; determines best method to process requisition based on dollar amount, timeliness, existing contracts, preferred suppliers and/or competitive bid.
Generates reports (via SAP, PowerBI, ServiceNow, and other tools) to manage the various workflows, coordinate communication, resolve problems, and escalate issues as needed.
Manages the department's general Inbox and ServiceNow ticketing system for all service requests.
Identifies and selects the appropriate sources or methods to procure requisitioned services or products for specific spend thresholds.
Negotiates cost and value on behalf of the company.
Initiates and performs supplier set up and ongoing supplier evaluation activities.
Actively participates in cost reduction programs and continuous improvement efforts.
Maintains and updates data in SAP.
Responsible for ensuring compliance with policies and procedures in alignment with sourcing strategy and ensures appropriate audit trails are embedded in the process.
Requirements: Bachelor's degree or, equivalent of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job may be considered.
Minimum 3 years' experience in purchase requisition/purchase order process and indirect procurement buying.
Working knowledge of SAP (PR/PO) required.
