*Summer Intern Packaging Engineering*

As an Allegion packaging engineering intern, you will contribute meaningful work and make a direct impact to the Packaging Engineering Competency. You will gain valuable experience in product design, testing and design process for development of commercial products. You will be part of an engaged engineering team that supports manufacturing and regularly interfaces with cross functional departments.

*What You Will Do:*

+ Deepen your understanding of the development, implementation, and testing of the packaging design process for new and existing products.

+ Participate in establishing and implementing standardized specifications and test procedures to optimize package performance, quality, and operational efficiencies.

+ Participate in the prototyping and testing of new designs, including the interpretation of test results.

+ Work with a team to produce well-rounded solutions.

+ Obtain the experience to create a foundation for growth and future opportunities with Allegion.

*What You Need to Succeed:*

+ Pursuing a degree in a relevant discipline, e.g. Packaging Engineering.

+ Resiliency and ability to adapt quickly.

+ An inquisitive nature that seeks to understand concepts and principles about software and the Allegion business practices

+ Effective listening, time management and creative problem-solving techniques

+ A desire to learn, grow and develop by working on projects that will impact Allegions business and customers

*Compensation:* This range is provided by Allegion. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience.

+ The expected Base Hourly Wage: $25 per hour. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
