Construction Oversight Engineer

position located in the Division of Transportation System Development (DTSD) Bureau of Project Development.
This position could be located in DTSD offices throughout the State.

Position Summary
The construction oversight position assists the Northwest Region in the administration and evaluation of their transportation construction program, including the analysis and resolution of claims and the provision of specialized expertise in construction techniques and problem solving.
This position performs engineering administrative work involving the development, implementation and evaluation of policies and specifications for the statewide construction program.
Frequent travel throughout the state may be required.
Salary Information
This position is in schedule-range 14-13 with an

annual salary of $90,064 - $108,950, plus excellent benefits .
A twelve-month probationary period is required.
Pay for current state employees will be set in accordance with the Wisconsin State Compensation Plan.
Job Details

anticipated that working outside of Wisconsin (or bordering cities) will be allowed because positions may need to report to office locations in Wisconsin on short notice.

Qualifications
Qualified candidates must have the following at the time of application:


A valid Professional Engineering registration and be able to obtain a Wisconsin PE registration within 3 months if PE registration is from another state
