We are looking for a full-time

Circulating OR Nurse

to join our Procedural team! This position is located at 361 W Chestnut, Chicago IL 60610. The schedule for this 40-hour per week position is

Monday through Friday, 6:30 am - 3 pm

and could vary based on the needs of the unit. Must have flexible schedule with potential for weekend coverage.
This position is responsible for providing patient focused surgical care. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

Maintains clinical expertise in the surgical aspects of patient care.
Work closely with physicians and staff to provide exceptional, compassionate patient care.
Directs all aspects of patient surgical care completing the nursing process in the operating room.
Manages the nursing care for patients throughout the surgical preoperative, intraoperative, and immediate postoperative phases.
Performs an initial preoperative assessment, introduces self to the patient and family, verifies patient's identity and explains the subsequent phases of surgery.
Responsible for interoperative and immediate postoperative care.
Collaborates with physicians, staff, and others as necessary to coordinate patient's complete care and service.
Perform procedures within the RN scope of practice and established company policies. Assist with other duties as needed.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
Current state RN license without limitations required.
Current ACLS or BLS if no ACLS certification approved by Manager.
2-3 years clinical experience in IVF Operating/Procedure Room or PACU experience preferred.
Strong technical and clinical assessment skills.
Ability to access, input, and retrieve information from a computer.
Ability to work independently and demonstrate good judgment.
Ability to communicate accurately and concisely.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Able to function as a team player
