About the Role

As a Certified Medical Assistant , you will support our team of physicians and nurses in delivering exceptional patient care. Your responsibilities will include:

Patient Interaction : Greet patients, obtain medical history and vital signs, and record information in electronic health records.
Clinical Support : Prepare infusion suites, assist with exams and procedures, administer medications and injections, and perform phlebotomy.
Administrative Tasks : Schedule appointments, assist with patient check-out, and handle front office tasks such as answering phones and scheduling.
Patient Education : Communicate with patients and their families about health education and follow-up care.
Qualifications

Certifications : Certified Medical Assistant (Required), BLS Certification (Required).
Experience : Minimum 2 years as a Medical Assistant, 1 year experience with vital signs, and 2 years of recent experience with EMR/EHR systems.
Skills : Experience with insurance benefits investigation and authorizations, exceptional customer service, and phone etiquette. Ability to maintain an organized environment to ensure timely patient flow.

The hourly pay range for this role is expected to be between $22 - $26. Actual base pay could vary based on factors including but not limited to experience, subject matter expertise, geographic location where work will be performed, and the applicant's skill set. The base pay is just one component of the total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include an annual cash bonus and a comprehensive benefits package.
